Port Community

The Port Community System (PCS) unites Latvia's three major ports — the Freeport of Riga, the Freeport of Ventspils, and the Liepaja Special Economic Zone — on a single digital platform. PCS enables efficient information exchange between port authorities, ship agents, logistics companies, customs brokers, and other industry participants.

About the Port Community

Latvian ports collectively handle more than 30 million tonnes of cargo annually. The port community includes over 300 companies — from cargo terminals and shipping companies to customs brokers and supply services. The PCS platform digitizes daily processes: ship visit management, calculation and invoice processing, permit requests, and company service catalogues.
